Full Job Description
The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves:
- Making multi drop deliveries of paper, printing, and packaging products.
- Loading/unloading of vehicle using tail lift and hand pallet truck.
- Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills required for Class 2 Day Driver: - Must have a UK Class 2 C Driving Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
Salary for Class 2 Day Driver is between £33,228pa - £36,920pa, depending on hours worked. - Hours of work are Monday - Friday, starting at 06:30hrs, working a minimum 45 hours a week.
