Class 2 Day Driver

The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves:

• Making multi drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West.
• Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
• Planning route on a day to day basis.
• Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
• Working closely with the network hubs.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.
  
  Essential skills for Class 2 Day Driver:
• Must have a UK Class 2 (C) Driving Licence with 6 months experience.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Working to deadlines.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
  
  Salary for Class 2 Day Driver is between £34,346pa - £39,353pa and MORE! Depending on hours worked.
• Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 48 hours per week, starting at 07:30hrs.
• Saturday working will be required every 1 in 8.
