Class 2 Driver

The position of Class 2 Driver involves:

• Delivering bakery products on behalf of customers from our Southampton Depot.
• You will be delivering to a range of retail outlets, wholesale and convenience stores across the South of England.
• Loading/unloading of vehicles.
• Dealing with customers face to face at delivery points and managing our customers' delivery expectations.
• A flexible approach is required as the job will involve early starts as well as tail-lift use and the manual handling of bread deliveries.
• Attending regular training sessions.
  
  Essential skills required for Class 2 Driver:
• Must have a UK Class 2 C Driving Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Working to deadlines.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
  
  Salary for Class 2 Driver between £37,115pa - £42,528pa AND MORE! Depending on hours worked. Working a minimum 48 hours per week based on a 25-week rolling rota including weekends.
• Start time between 01:00hrs and 03:30hrs, finish time between 11:00hrs and 13:00hrs.
• For all shifts starting between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £7.50 per shift.
