Class 2 Upskill Driver

Are you an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver ready to elevate your driving career to new heights? Do you want to deliver B&Q products to happy customers' homes while mastering the art of operating a HIAB crane? If so, read on. This might be the opportunity for you!,

• Delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis - an average of 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drop per day in peak season


• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations


• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner


• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation


• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur communicate with in a polite and courteous manner


• Training for HIAB crane will be provided to operate a lorry loader when required
  
  Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential


• A full UK driving licence with category C Entitlement


• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)


• An up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph


• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal


• Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)


• Be prepared to commute to Coventry (CV5 8BW) for the required shift pattern

You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an 'any 5 days out of 7' pattern, contracted to 40hrs per week, with start times in the morning. This role will require flexibility as you will be working on a 3 week rota pattern (provided in advance) including weekends.,
• An hourly rate of £15.33, that is an annual salary of £31,886.40


• A potential to earn an additional £100 every 6 months via the attendance bonus scheme (T&Cs apply)


• Overtime pay of £23.00 per hour (when applicable, paid over 40hrs)


• An additional £0.64 per hour when operating HIAB crane
