    We are excited to recruit a class teacher for our brand-new school: Whipman Woods Flying High Academy. The teacher will form part of a brand-new team working together to deliver an exceptional school that we can all be proud of. Being a part of a new school provides a unique opportunity to have a direct influence on shaping and establishing a vision for a brand-new school. You will establish the first nursery classroom and welcome our first cohort of nursery children into this new school.
  • This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the staff that make up the very team at Whipman Woods Flying High Academy. Whipman Woods Flying High Academy opened its doors to children and the community in September 2024, as the third new school that Flying High has opened, following on from the significant success of Hucknall Flying High Academy and Rivendell Flying High Academy. Up to 26 FTE children will be welcomed into the nursery in January 2025. These children will join our existing cohorts in Reception and Years 1 - 6, with up to 30 children in Reception and up to 15 children in Years 1- 6. The teacher post will be recruited based on skills and experience. As part of a new and dynamic team, you will work together to shape this new school embedding relationships with children and families, that ensures every child has the opportunity to achieve. Flying High is a partnership of 34 primary schools, with a significant track record of success. As the teacher you will have significant support from both within the school and across our partnerships.
