Full Job Description

  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, celebrating achievements and addressing challenges.
  • Adapt teaching to incorporate therapeutic strategies and interventions as outlined in EHCPs.
  • Foster a supportive, stimulating learning environment using Sign Supported English (training provided).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and parents to ensure coordinated outcomes.

You will have an opportunity to work in a vibrant, multidisciplinary team where you'll manage a diverse caseload and contribute to cutting-edge therapy practices.,
  • Qualifications: QTS and a degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven success in teaching children with special educational needs, ideally in a SEN setting.
  • Skills: Knowledge of effective teaching strategies, the National Curriculum, and knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children. Strong ICT and behaviour management skills.
  • Attributes: A flexible, dedicated, and professional approach, with a commitment to safeguarding, equality, and confidentiality.
