Full Job Description
- High levels of mentoring and support for newly qualified teachers and those in the early stages of their career.
- Opportunities to develop pedagogy and leadership skills by working closely with colleagues and school leaders on the continuing growth and development of the school; by cross-phase working with the secondary school and by partnership working with other local schools.
- A commitment to professional development and scope for career progression as the school grows and as new roles emerge.
We are looking for an inspirational teacher who is able to teach, ideally lower KS2, with experience in subject leadership. A passion for promoting creative arts within the school would be desirable, but not essential.
The candidate must be:-
- a passionate classroom practitioner with an establish track record of high expectations and aspiration for all children's achievement,
- is passionate about learning and able to work as part of a team to deliver a high-quality curriculum,
- has previous experience of working with a divers range of learning needs including excellent provision for children with additional needs,
- has a good working knowledge of formative assessment practice and other assessment strategies,
- has excellent expertise in creating a stimulating and appropriate environment that motivates learners.
