Little Heaton is on a journey of improvement. We are now part of the Cranmer Education Trust, a successful, growing trust which prides itself on looking after its people, offering a high level of support and access to expertise. Currently we are working closely with 2 trust primaries, St John's Thornham and St Matthew's Chadderton which will join Cranmer in early 2025. Our new SENCO will have the support and guidance of experienced primary SENCOs: this is an excellent time to join the team, as we develop our collaborative structures across our primary family.,

  We are looking for an excellent primary practitioner with the commitment and motivation to inspire children's learning and development, who has a particular interest in and knowledge of the needs of children with SEN, and who is well-organized, a good communicator and committed to working with parents, other professionals and external agencies to ensure our pupils have the support that they need to achieve their potential.
