KS2 Classroom Teacher at St. James CE Primary School Are you passionate about teaching and aspiring to become an excellent classroom practitioner? We strive to create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where both pupils and staff can thrive., Position: Classroom Teacher -Year 5 -subject leadership for Humanities (A start date after February half term would be preferable but we can accommodate an Easter start date for the right candidate) Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the school values of love, peace, honesty, respect, friendship and endurance.
- Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment, utilising a range of teaching methods and resources.
- Establish effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and promote a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each student.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
A recognised teaching qualification and relevant experience. - Passion for teaching and a commitment to becoming an outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and ability to adapt to diverse learning Needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues,and parents.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
