Role: Classroom Teacher of English

Pay Scale: MPR/UPR

Hours: Full time/part-time applications will be considered

The successful candidate will have:

· A deep knowledge, enthusiasm and genuine passion for English Literature and English Language

· A proven track record of securing excellent progress and attainment with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students whilst engaging and inspiring students

· Strong communication and organisational skills

· Expertise in delivering high-quality marking and feedback, leading to engaging and challenging lessons tailored to our students needs

· Alignment with our school values of Manners, Hard Work and Honesty

· A commitment to creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment

Mossley Hollins High School is currently in the process of converting to an Academy. This role will be affected by the transfer, meaning that the successful applicant will transfer to the Academy, along with all other school staff. The conversion to an Academy will be undertaken in accordance with the DfE and legal requirements.
