Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an experienced Cleaner to work at our Plessington Court housing scheme. Reporting to our Scheme Coordinator our cleaners must provide a first-class professional cleaning service to our customers ensuring our schemes meet the needs of our customers to assist them in living happy Independent lives. The successful candidate will work 20 hours per week Monday to Fridays between the hours of 8am and 1pm.

Main duties will include cleaning and maintaining of;

  • Mats, Carpets, Paintwork, Floors, Furniture

  • Scheme entrance areas

  • Office spaces

  • Communal living areas

  • Laundry room

  • Toilets

  • Empty flats

  • Emptying of internal and external bins

  • In addition, assisting customer and visitors with general queries and supporting the Scheme Coordinator with social events as required.

    Experience of dealing with customers / embers of the public on a face to face basis

  • Experience of providing a cleaning service

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety applicable to providing a cleaning service

  • Effective communication skills

    Site Based - Plessington Court, Brewery Street, Longridge, Lancashire, PR3 3LY

  • Hours of Work: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 1pm or 8:30am - 12:30pm
