Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint an additional Cleaner to join our established team to care for the appearance and cleanliness of our school.

Any set time period of 12.5 hours between 14:30 and 18:30 to suit you. Applicants are asked to indicate on their letter of application their preferred hours of work., Please be aware that some uploaded documents may require special software such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat Reader to view.

    Previous experience of a similar role would be an advantage, however, not essential, as on the job training will be provided.


  • Applicants will have:
  • An understanding of general cleaning processes

  • A good understanding of Health and Safety

  • Knowledge of cleaning regulations e.g. COSHH

  • Ability to establish rapport and to maintain respectful and trusting relationships

  • Ability to work effectively with other adults in the school

  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to follow instructions

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines
