Full Job Description

As our Cleaner, you will provide cleaning services in classrooms, offices and public areas

The post holder will undertake assigned tasks and discharge their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities of our Cleaner:

Cleaning the buildings and grounds to include coverings, fixtures, furniture and sanitary facilities (reactive and planned)
Moving chairs, desks and furniture as requested
Operating cleaning equipment
Ensuring equipment and consumables are safely used and correctly stored
Undertaking routine maintenance of cleaning equipment
Reporting defects including faulty fixtures and fittings e.g. lights, furniture etc
Ensuring that all cleaning waste/rubbish is disposed of in line with college procedure

Attention to detail and ability to ensure quality standards are met.
Previous experience in cleaning services.
Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills.
