Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable cleaner to join our school cleaning team. You will be responsible for cleaning designated parts of the school to ensure it is a clean and safe environment for all our pupils, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be someone who is committed to completing a job to a high standard and can work effectively with other team members. Don't delay! Interviews may be offered on receipt of applications from suitable candidates., You will be responsible for essential daily cleaning duties which may include sweeping, hoovering and mopping in all areas of the school including classrooms, offices, toilets, training rooms and corridors. There may be additional specialist cleaning in particular areas of the school at certain times during the year. Internal and external training is provided where appropriate to the role and continued professional development of our staff is encouraged. There may be some flexibility in working times for the right candidate.

The ideal person will have experience working as a cleaner and a proven track record in carrying out cleaning to a high standard. You will take pride in cleaning the school and have excellent housekeeping skills in order to maintain a safe, clean and orderly working environment. The successful applicant will have a friendly personality being able to communicate and work effectively with other team members, but also independently. You will have the physical fitness required to carry out the allocated duties, and be able to comply with health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
