Full Job Description

The Winterton Federation require a Cleaner to join our Ancillary team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Executive Headteacher, Federation Business Manager and Caretakers and alongside our dedicated team of friendly and supportive staff, initially in the happy, busy environment of Winterton Junior School, to ensure the high standard of cleanliness within the school campus is maintained. Full time hours of 8 hours 45 minutes per week. Duties will include:

  • Cleaning of all school areas
  • Dusting and polishing
  • Mopping and vacuuming of floors
  • Cleaning of toilets
  • Any additional duties as requested by the Executive Headteacher

    Applicant must be able to demonstrate previous experience and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good timekeeping and organisational skills are essential
  • An understanding of COSHH and Colour Coding are desirable but not essential
