Full Job Description

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Cleaner to join our Estates Team at Leaside Lock, Bromley-by-Bow London E3 on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week across 5 days Friday to Tuesday between the hours of 8am-4pm. As a Cleaner you will report into the Estate manager and be responsible for providing high quality cleaning services at Leaside Lock in Tower Hamlets. Leaside Lock is the first in a series of large high-profile estates Guinness are developing. In addition to providing affordable homes for the capital, it will also feature a substantial number of homes for private sale. You will be joining a small, dedicated team to provide an efficient cleaning service, ensuring that the buildings and facilities are cleaned to a high specification. You will be responsible for all internal and external communal areas, to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.

We're a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You'll not only be an experienced cleaner, ideally with previous experience of cleaning estates and/or housing schemes but you'll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. You'll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience of cleaning to excellent standards.
  • Proven experience of operating cleaning equipment, including electrical items such as vacuum cleaners.
  • Proven ability to record and pass on information accurately and in a timely manager.
  • Previous experience of stock control of cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals.
  • Ability to report and schedule any repairs needs.
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
