Full Job Description
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter/Cleaner to join our small team. You will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to uphold food safety standards and support efficient operations. This role would be primarily day shifts, and can be full or part time.,
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots and pans using industrial dishwashers or by hand.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks
- Ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean and in working order
- Following daily checklist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in food storage areas
- Assist chefs and cooks with various tasks as needed
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all ties
- Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned by management team
Prior experience as a Kitchen Porter or a similar role is a plus but not required - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy pots or standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
