Full Job Description

The role requires general maintenance and cleaning duties, ensuring hygiene and safety measures are always met. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate commitment to the role and be ambitious in ensuring that the environments they are responsible for are maintained to a high standard; that environments are clean, pleasant and inviting for pupils, staff and visitors. Desirable candidates will be collaborative in their willingness to be adaptive and flexible to support the wider team and to ensure the academy runs smoothly and effectively. Most importantly, you will be joining a small, kind and powerful community of Senior Leadership, Teaching and Support staff where you will be a much-valued member of our academy.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

The King Edward VI Foundation, Birmingham, is a progressive charitable organisation which has supported excellence in education across the city since 1552. Our Academy Trust currently consists of two independent schools, six selective, and five non-selective academies.
