Campus Cleaning Services provides cleaning across 7,076 campus bedrooms, 479 hotel rooms and 65 University buildings. We are looking for a Cleaning Assistant to join the Campus Cleaning Services team within the Estates Department. The role will consist of working within our non-residential team. Duties will include cleaning offices, teaching rooms, the Arts Centre, the Library and other areas. This is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and the hours are 2pm - 6pm. We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
You will need to be a good team player, who works well with others and is keen to provide excellent customer service for our students, staff, and visitors to the University.
The Cleaning team provide a high quality cleaning service to the non-residential buildings across the campus. Estates Cleaning Services is an Approved Centre for the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), and all of our Cleaning staff are BICSc trained and have a 3 yearly refresher. We have an Annual Audit carried out by BICSc to ensure that we meet the required standard. For more information, please see .
