Are you enthusiastic about maintaining cleanliness and creating a welcoming environment? We're looking for a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team! As a Cleaning Operative, you will carry out a variety of tasks, safely and professionally and to a high standard. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Cleaning of designated areas within a council building
  • Mopping and sweeping floors
  • Use of vacuum cleaners for the cleaning of carpets and stairwells
  • Cleaning desks and other furniture
  • Cleaning of kitchenettes
  • Cleaning of welfare facilities - washrooms
  • Use of equipment and machinery and handling chemicals
  • Empty waste bins, remove rubbish to collection areas
  • Carrying out any other reasonable management requests

    Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 06.30am to 09.00am (to be discussed at interview)
