Full Job Description

The Regeneration and Community Services Directorate within Blaenau Gwent are looking to recruit two Cleaning Operatives on a permanent basis to undertake cleaning duties in establishments within the borough., The Regeneration and Community Services Directorate are looking to recruit two Cleaning Operatives, to maintain cleaning standards in any identified areas.

The successful candidates will clean any designated area to a set standard by use of chemicals, equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will also maintain their cupboard, equipment and machinery by cleaning and ensuring correct storage after use. You will also place orders when replacement chemicals and equipment is required.

The successful candidates should be able to work as part of a team, have the ability to use their own initiative and be willing to undertake any training considered necessary for the position.

Post No - Hours - Location
BG07469 - 15 hours per week, 41 weeks per year - Ebbw Fawr Secondary School
BG12277 - 11 hours 57 minutes per week 41 weeks per year - Abertillery LC Secondary Phase

COSHH and basic Health and Safety plus experience is desirable.
