Cleaning Operator

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaning Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in our facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Successful candidate would be required to be flexible with the given hours and be able to work Saturdays and Sundays, General Cleaning:

-Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

-Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas.

-Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.

-Refill supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.

-Specialized Cleaning:

-Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers.

-Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning agents.

-Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, including waxing floors, cleaning carpets, and washing walls.

-Maintenance:

-Inspect and report any necessary repairs or hazards in the facilities.

-Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.

-Ensure that cleaning products are used safely and stored properly.

-Health and Safety:

-Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

-Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

-Report any safety hazards, incidents, or injuries to the supervisor immediately.

-Customer Service:

-Respond to specific cleaning requests from staff and management in a timely manner.

-Maintain a professional demeanor while working in occupied spaces.

Experience:

-Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role in shopping Centres (1 Year).

-Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, supplies, and techniques.
