Full Job Description

To deliver a high-quality service for all Bright and Beautiful clients ensuring that at all times we exceed the customer's expectations. Manage, motivate and develop your housekeeping team ensuring that duties are carried out in a professional, timely, reliable and organised manner.,

  • Deliver high quality housekeeping services to ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintain consistency of service by working to the clients personalised action list
  • Ensure absolute security of all client's homes by following our strict security procedures
  • To enhance client retention by reporting any client feedback or queries to management
  • Mange the team's workload so that all jobs are completed in the time allocated
  • Always ensure that the team represent our company's ethos and values.
  • To protect our brand and always speak positively about our company and the management team.
  • Carry out Induction Training for new members of team
  • To ensure that Health & Safety procedures are always followed
  • To maintain client confidentiality regarding contact details, living patterns etc.
  • Ensure all team members have the correct kit, are professionally presented and arrive in a timely manner, completing work to time schedules
  • To provide an honest and accurate summary of team members performance and attitude on a weekly basis
  • To ensure that you explore options and provide potential solutions to find cover if ever you cannot attend your scheduled shift (i.e. holidays/sickness etc.)
  • To be proactive in marketing the business - delivering flyers/ referral cards etc., Ensuring that you have a current action list for each client
  • Loading the correct kit for team into the car plus cloths
  • Check all team members uniform & indoor/outdoor shoes
  • To arrive at the team meeting point punctually at the agreed time and ensure the team arrive at client's home at the scheduled time
  • Security at the client's home:
  • Logging exact arrival time of job on to key locking sheet- signed by all team
  • Opening door and turning off alarm
  • Upon leaving - check all windows are closed and light switches off
  • Make sure all our kit and products are removed
  • Reset alarm
  • Lock door securely and put keys away - witnessed by team members
  • Log exact departure time and get team to sign to say that the door is
  • locked, and the keys are safe Quality control for each job
  • On arrival check general condition of each room
  • Allocate the rooms to each team member and give them an estimated time
  • Show them any "special" issues for that room from the action list
  • Clean your own areas
  • Ensure the entire team carry out a quality check using the team check list after every clean - and then personally do a final quality check of all area. Point out any improvements for training purposes.
  • Check the action list "special items"
  • Check that the bin procedures are followed correctly
  • Any issues such as accidents, problems with cleaning etc. must be reported
  • to your manager by phone
  • Write the issue on the action list and date it
  • If necessary, leave a note for the client
  • Team Training
  • You are responsible for new team members, guiding them on how to do
  • each task. Take time to watch them and to check them. Give them feedback in an encouraging way.
  • Ensure that they are punctual and time efficient
  • Ensure they are wearing the correct uniform
  • Ensure they follow the induction manual directions: no smoking in uniform, no bags or coats in client homes, no drinking or eating on client premises (water only)
