Full Job Description

The post holder will be based in the Paediatric Audiology Department, which specialises in assessment, diagnosis and management of hearing disorders in children (newborn to 18 yrs of age). The post holder will carry out clerical duties to the department and will provide an efficient and effective high quality administrative service covering generating reports and booking appointments. The post holder will be responsible for the ongoing administrative service to support the day to day running of the department and will be responsible for managing own workload.

Successful applicants must have the following:o Ability to establish a good rapport with parents / carers over the phone or in direct interactiono Experience in using hospital patient databases and systems (i.e. PAS, ESR, ICS)o Good computer skills and ability to learn new skills (i.e. printing reports, using audiology patient database, etc)

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
