Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to be part of our reception team at our Community Diagnostic Centre based in Wembley and Willesden. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure.

Reception is the first point of contact for patients, clinicians and other health professionals and therefore you will need the skills to deal with a wide range of issues and situations.

This role will involve evening work from 4.30pm to 12am as part of a 6 month trial. Due to the hours of this role, we are offering a taxi back to your place of residence or free secure car parking on site. Once the 6 month trial period is over you may be redeployed as an imaging assistant within the trust.

We are a friendly and supportive team, looking for highly motivated people who demonstrate a passion for delivering care to the local community. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the local community receive the highest quality of care at our state of the art Community Diagnostic Centre.

If you haven't administrative skills, not to worry! All we ask is that you bring your customer service skills and our fabulous team will train you on our systems and make sure you are supported within your new role. We understand just how important it is to invest in you, so offer incredible training and support programmes to develop your skills to progress to a higher banding.

You will provide a comprehensive and efficient reception and, examinations booking service to patients attending our Imaging Department.

You respond to and deal with a variety of often complex requests in a timely manner.

You will work to ensure all bookings do not breach the national waiting time standards and managing an efficient process of initial patient assessment for all Imaging request forms.

You will be expected to work independently and manage and prioritise your workload, liaising closely with the wider admin team in the department.
