Full Job Description
Administrator
A vacancy has arisen to recruit a Clerical Officer within the Operations Department. The position is responsible for completing all of the functions required in the day-to-day running of the Operations Centre.
Role and Responsibilities will include:
- Checking in and releasing freight units from the Port.
- Operating in-house booking systems as well as other agencies systems.
- Communicating with multi-agency departments.
- Operating in-house ANPR and Camco barrier systems.
- Creating and distributing import and export manifests for various types of vessels.
The successful applicant will:
- Be enthusiastic and generalist to oversee the business & office administration.
- Ideally have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently and proactively with minimal supervision.
- Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workflows effectively.
- Be an excellent communicator.
- Be able to work irregular and unsocial hours, including nights and weekends.
- Hold a full driving licence, valid in the UK
