Full Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Band 3 clerical support officer with good interpersonal skills, to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation service. You will play a key role in supporting the clinical team, including nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. You will posses excellent office management and administration skills providing all-round administrative duties and contributing to the day to day smooth running of the service., To provide administrative and clerical support to the cardiac rehabilitation team, working within specific guidelines and protocols. Clerical duties will include: typing of letters. photocopying. emailing clinical information where appropriate. filing of test results. retrieval and returning patient medical case-notes to file. maintain accurate filing systems. Receive and process all referrals into the service, arranging clinic appointments as directed by the specialist nurses. Receive messages for individual staff members, passing on any information in an accurate and timely manner. Respond to telephone enquiries, directing calls appropriately when required. Be competent in the use of CTMUHB IT systems such as Myrddin, and maintaining National and Local Cardiac Rehabilitation service databases.
