Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Caerphilly Housing Asset Maintenance and Repairs Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £33,024 - £35,745 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

The post holder will Ensure the delivery of site works in accordance with approved standards, specifications and schedules associated with Asset Maintenance and Repairs and ensure a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision is maintained for each contract, via regular site visits, assessing contract implementation with due regard to building and health and safety legislation, and adherence to Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), Renting Homes Wales Act (RHWA) and WHQS23.

You will become part of a dynamic team delivering reactive repairs/planned maintenance works to our homes. The successful candidate must have an excellent work ethic, good communication skills, and a dynamic approach to the role and be able to lead by example.

For the role, we ask that you have:

A level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales or above in an electrical discipline. For example Level 3 Certificate in Installing Testing and Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installation Work in Dwellings or equivalent.
Knowledge of current standards and specifications relating to electrical installations.
Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings and visit sites., Disability Confident
