Full Job Description

We are seeking a bright and friendly individual to join our administration and reception team to support the Pre-Assessment service across the Freeman and Royal Victoria Hospitals. Our administration and reception team are busy and diverse services and our clinicians rely on the administration teams to provide an effective, efficient service to support them to provide exceptional care to our patients. You will need to be able to prioritise the needs of our busy teams using organisation skills. You will need to be calm and self-motivated with an adaptable, positive and flexible approach to challenging and changing situations. The post will involve contact with patients and families both face to face and via telephone and so good communication skills are essential to this role. Working knowledge of computer systems and applications will be beneficial to the role and support to understand and learn the trust digital systems will be available to the successful candidate. + Interview date: 14 November 2024 + 37 hours 30 minutes/week + You will be redirected to Trac to apply for the vacancy. NO AGENCIES PLEASE, + Utilise the electronic patient record on a daily basis to keep accurate records and book appointments. + Manage and deal with calls from patients, service users, families, carers and other professionals. + Support the team to carry out admin tasks that are required to maintain the good working flow of the service + Reception duties. + Administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, scanning and uploading documents to maintain accurate patient records and pre-assessment service records. Use a variety of electronic systems (Office, PowerChart, SchApptbook, PMOffice), + To provide an effective and efficient out-patient reception and administrative service within the terms and conditions of the NHS Guidelines, ensuring that a high quality of customer care is delivered.
