Clerk to Governors

The Governing Body of The Arun Villages Federation are dedicated volunteers who work with the schools to provide strategic leadership. The Governors are looking to appoint a Clerk to keep them informed of constitutional issues and provide administrative support and minute taking for meetings. The appointment would be a permanent contract taking effect as soon as possible.

To meet the requirements of the role we are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills. Whilst previous experience of working as a clerk would be desirable, a full package of training and support is available from the Local Authority Governor Support team. The Arun Villages Federation currently includes Amberley CE Primary School and St James’ CE Primary School, Coldwaltham in an established and successful partnership which is committed to providing the very best education opportunities for the children in the area. Both schools are situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park and surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside and coastline in Southern England.
