Full Job Description

  • Be the lead account manager on Strategic accounts and large institutional clients.

  • Forge a strong partnership with the Client Directors and the Client Account Managers who work on the Strategic accounts and our large institutional accounts.

  • Be responsible for resolving non-investment related client queries or ensuring appropriate delegation.

  • Lead project work which directly impacts strategic clients and support where required through attending meetings and taking ownership of tasks, updating project plans and related documentation ensuring that actions are owned and completed to according to schedule.

  • Work alongside the Client Directors in collaborating with other areas of the business, ensuring that all bespoke client needs and requirements are understood by all team members.

  • Communicate our services, products, and SLAs with clients and third parties.

  • Lead meetings with client and senior colleagues

  • Be the subject matter expert, lead members of the client account management team with all aspects of client activity and be able to offer solutions to complex queries.

  • Maintain the client database and ensure all client information is up to date. Record all communication and activity with clients in line with departmental procedure.

  • Ensure fund profiles are regularly updated and reviewed annually.

  • Ensure all regulatory Financial Crime requirements are updated annually.

  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are understood and procedures are followed.

  • Maintain and improve your own investment and market knowledge.

  • Present in internal / external meetings where required.

  • Be willing to mentor members of the client account management team

  • Knowledge of financial markets, financial markets function and the impact of economic figures and national/regional/global events on markets

  • Strong presentation skills. Be able to present internally and externally

  • Good awareness of what's happening in markets. Be aware of the implications of market trends
