Full Job Description

Reports to: Client Accounting Director, Job Purpose: To ensure that all client financial processes are understood, documented and communicated effectively to all involved and concerned. To ensure that disciplines which impact upon billing to clients, collection of client receipts, and subsequent payment of suppliers to the agency are maintained to a very high standard.,

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure financial processes are adhered to.

  • Collaborate closely with the collections team in Poland to ensure timely payments, identifying and resolving queries related to Purchase Orders, invoices, or payment terms.

  • Work with the billing team to ensure accurate client invoicing and assist in resolving un-billed queries.

  • Coordinate with the Master Data team to ensure accurate system setup for client billing and submit client or change requests on behalf of media teams.

  • Communicate with Planning and Buying teams on the Client Accounting process, ensuring understanding and compliance with financial procedures.

  • Assist Planning and Buying teams with finance-related client queries, ensuring processes are followed.

  • Ensure compliance with group audit requirements and assist with providing documentation for internal, external, or client audits.

  • Collaborate with internal Shared Service Centre (Collections and Billing) through monthly calls.

  • Assist the Accounts Payable team in resolving supplier payment issues.


  • Relationships
  • Work closely with Starcom/Spark Planning and Buying teams.

  • Collaborate with Publicis Media Financial teams.

  • Liaise with resource staff in the UK, Costa Rica, India, and Poland, including the Financial Operations Manager, Management Accountants, Billing & Credit Control Team, and Payables Supervisor.

  • Build strong connections with clients, especially Finance and Marketing teams.

    Ability to meet deadlines, effective time management, organisation and prioritisation

  • High standards of accuracy, attention to detail and presentation of work

  • Familiarity and confidence preferred with IT systems MediaOcean/DDS, SAP and Excel

  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated

  • Commercially minded, ability to foresee and eliminate problems/risks

  • Team player with ability and enthusiasm to work collaboratively across all relationships

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to resolve financial queries efficiently.

  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across multiple locations
