Are you looking for a role that will allow you to be involved with clients and insurers whist managing and developing a team of Client Advisors? By joining Marsh in our Manchester office this opportunity would see you join the successful management team and work closely with colleagues, clients and insurers to provide a first-class service. What can you expect? Working in collaboration with other Team Leaders you will manage a team of Client Advisors on a wide range of insurance programmes focusing on Corporate clients. You would be responsible for leading a team of Client Advisors whilst having ownership of the full renewal process of your own corporate portfolio. The role will involve being an active part of the Manchester Management Team as well as working with Client Executives in strategy meetings, gathering / analysing data, working with clients and insurers to obtain quotations, create reports and finalise placements. You will have all the necessary support, training and resources to develop your own career and skills, and to drive the skills in your team forward.,

  • Day to day management and personal development for a team of Client Advisors
  • Actively participate as a member of the Manchester leadership team to assist in the development of strategy, client service, growth and recruitment within this highly successful office
  • To mentor and aid strategic growth of others.
  • To assist the Head of Office to achieve strategic goals.
  • To represent the office and the region in national forums and take responsibility for strategic and operational deliverables.
  • Liaise with Marsh Client Executives and brokers regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals.
  • Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executive and Market Placement Team
  • Collate and negotiate terms with incumbent and prospective insurers.
  • Analyse quotes and work with insurers to negotiate cover and premiums.
  • Assist with the preparation of client reports for renewal.
  • Strive to deliver best practice, market leading service and solutions with a focus on client service excellence on a wide range of topics.

    Previous Team Leader or Management experience preferred, or the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Proven experience of Account Handling with medium to large UK and Global Accounts
  • Dynamic with a drive to continually improve service to clients
  • A passion for making a difference to the working lives, skills and success of colleagues
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple issues/ challenges simultaneously
  • Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office products

  • Cert CII qualified (or equivalent) essential
  • ACII (or equivalent) or working towards preferred
