Full Job Description

This is a 1 year Fixed Term Contract. Global Benchmarking Services (GBS) is the leader of property performance data and analytics. Our idea is simple - capture the right data, enrich it through quality analysis and present it simply. The Client Consultant will be reporting to GBS Head of Global Client Services and is responsible for the delivery of the full range of GBS benchmarking products and services to existing and new clients. It is expected that this specific role will work closely with our clients in EMEA and Asia Pacific with particular focus on Human Experience and retail branch projects. The client consultant will be responsible for overall client relationship and project management. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Project management of the service delivery for specific new and existing clients. This includes:
  • o on-boarding and client technical training o quality control of client data (supervising of the data validation) o management of the program timetable and required resources across GBS o preparing the final reports and analytical presentation to the client o having the lead responsibility for quality control of the reporting o data analysis and interpretation: Interpret the data and present findings to clients in a clear and concise manner, highlighting actionable recommendations. o ensuring that the client records are managed in accordance with GBS policies and are up to date and accessible on the team shared drive. o continuous improvement initiatives: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • The client management role is the primary relationship with GBS clients and as such will be contributing to the client relationship plan and strategic development of that relationship.
  • Multiple internal and external meetings to ensure client delivery. The meetings will include the revenue recognition meeting to ensure timely project completion and update of the revenue recognition timetable and coordination of the Human Experience delivery program.
  • GBS clients are in different time-zones, so the job involves early morning and evening calls when required.
  • Supervision of the data validation with the Data Hub manager
  • Conducting client consultations: Proactively engage with clients to understand their specific needs, gather feedback, and provide recommendations on optimizing their benchmarking products and services. Collaborate with the production team to select appropriate benchmarks tailored to each client's requirements.
  • Liaise with analysts in India to ensure accurate data outputs, check data validity, and verify data accuracy. Additionally, collaborate with analysts in preparing client presentations, as well as in creating and maintaining dashboards.
  • Working with the Global Director of Data Governance and Insight on assignment of benchmarks to client buildings
  • Interaction with other client consultants for knowledge sharing and methodology development
  • Supporting other projects, when required, due to holidays or delivery bottlenecks
  • Supporting the development of new and existing GBS products by gathering client feedback and market intelligence sharing

    Technical/analytical capability (analytical approach, understanding of GBS methodologies (training will be provided), ability to interpret and contextualise information for clients
  • At least 2 years' experience in data led consultancy/ research projects with evidence of successful delivery
  • Consultancy skills (exploratory questioning, listening/identifying client need), scoping/generating a brief, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • A self-starter, highly motivated and the ability to work individually and within a global team, who is enthusiastic, motivated, tenacious, and credible
  • Fluent English is required
  • Any of the following foreign languages is a bonus: French, Spanish, German, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese
  • Superior written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects/tasks, Educated to degree level, preferably in one of the following areas: Property, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Desirable MSc in any of the above disciplines or an MBA
  • Well-developed numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); Any BI or statistical applications skills is an advantage, data visualization skills, feeling comfortable with AI applications
  • Knowledge of the real estate Industry
  • We offer flexibility in location, assuming a hybrid work-style. There is also a flexibility in work hours due to international nature of the job and frequent out of UK hours virtual meetings.
