Full Job Description

The Client Operations Team Leader will assist the Client Operations Manager in leading the newly created Client Operations Team, which sits within Business Services (Newmark GE Services LLP). The new team will oversee, manage and action all firmwide onboarding and invoicing across rating, advisory/consultancy and agency/transactional services. This role will have a firmwide remit and in time may become a SME in a particular work type. The role will be fundamental in assisting in the creation of streamlined and efficient ways of working to ensure all clients are onboarded and all firm invoices are created and issued in a timely and accurate manner.,

  • Ensure all invoices are drafted and finalised in a timely manner

  • Ensure all jobs are added to the client management system within 7 days of instruction

  • Support the Client Operations Manager by ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

  • Ensure fee earners understand expectations, requirements and process for onboarding and invoicing.

  • Ensure firmwide policies and procedures are in place for accurate and efficient onboarding and invoicing.

  • Ensure the firm remains compliant for internal and external audits.

  • Overall responsibility for ensuring our clients receive a positive experience during the onboarding and invoicing phase.

  • Regular and ad-hoc financial reporting (internal and client facing).

  • Liaising directly with clients and assisting with client management.

  • Reviewing and signing off the junior team members invoicing, if applicable.

  • Auditing all open jobs within our client management system.

  • Liaising with our compliance team and wider departments around NDA's and contracts during onboarding and supporting the Client Operations Team with their onboarding process.

  • Supporting the credit and re-issue process including final sign off on all credit notes.

    A high level of commercial awareness

  • Previous experience of coordinating a team

  • Excellent knowledge of the firm's systems or equivalent systems

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to follow the onboarding process from start to finish

  • Ability to liaise with all levels across the business

  • Ability to support team members

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage your time

  • A high level of attention to detail and comfortable working within processes
