Full Job Description
An experienced, UK based senior level branded content salesperson who has worked across and possibly managed members of content sales teams with a strong and established portfolio of content deals that they have led and sold. This role will suit a self-starter who wants to work closely to establish the commercial strategy and ongoing market launch & presence of the BBC Studios Branded Partnerships offering across multiple markets. The individual will have excellent relationships with key media agencies and advertisers that buy deals rooted in content and distribution from media owners. This is a role for someone who is passionate about selling content and invested in the history and legacy of the IPs that they will be taking into market. The candidate should be a skilled storyteller who is invested in the creative and strategic sale of opportunities to clientsDAY TO DAY
- Ideate and implement the commercial strategy for the BBC Studios branded partnership wing along with the Director of Brand Partnerships
- Lead and deliver revenue for BBC Studios commercial opportunities for both existing and new IP.
- Grow BBC Studios advertising revenues via content driven omni-channel deals
- Target agencies and clients to buy sponsored and ad funded content directly from BBC Studios
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting to the Director of Brand Partnerships
- Develop BBC Studios positioning and SLAs
- Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Ensure all advertising campaigns adhere to BBC Studios Advertising Guidelines
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stake holders and maintain the highest level of professionalism while embracing existing relationships and building new ones.
- Support the Director of Brand Partnerships on identifying new revenue opportunities across all of our IP.
A successful track record in selling content/partner sales for a media owner / network, particularly sponsored and ad funded content short form and long form content. - Proven experience working across successful sales teams
- Excellent knowledge of the content, media and social advertising market and all quantitative and qualitative metrics
- Strong contacts at UK media agencies / clients responsible for buying content i.e. long and short form as well as social first content
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build rapport and credible, trusted and strong working relationships. Desirables
