Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of Wholesale clients, reporting into the Client Service Team Manager. They will help to ensure that clients are always given a first-class service.

The team enjoys a highly collaborative working relationship with colleagues across all areas of the business and the role holder will be expected to continually develop upon internal relationships.

The ideal candidate will be a successful and experienced Client Service Manager who has experience in a similar role within an Asset Management company.

The role will be based in London and will be limited to 12 months.

What you will do

  • Deliver excellent client service ensuring all client queries are responded to effectively and in a timely manner

  • Be responsible for a smooth client experience from onboarding new clients into mutual funds or segregated accounts to corporate actions and off-boarding

  • Ensure IMA guidelines and servicing standards are maintained

  • Build essential relationships with internal teams and external contacts

  • Proactively develop a full understanding of the AllianzGI' fund processes and resources

  • Actively contribute on ad-hoc projects across the team as they arise

  • Fully engage with all internal systems CEDAR, PICO, Finscape

  • Attend client events to support Sales Directors

  • Provide holiday cover support when other Client Service team members are away

  • Maintain the database system (SalesForce) to ensure that all client data & communications are stored and up to date

  • Coordinate RFP/DDQ, KYC & Legal agreements with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Organise and host update and introductory calls with clients and prospective clients as needed

  • Organise and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to clients in a timely manner

  • When needed, assist with the registration and/or launch of ShareClasses upon client request and business sign-off, understanding the necessary processes and steps to achieve this

  • Provide Client Account Management to clients with segregated accounts and investment advisory agreements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or any other related field (IMC, CFA certifications will be a plus)

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working within Client Services as a Client Service Manager

  • Impeccable written and spoken English

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of investments (asset classes)

  • Confidence, patience and diplomacy when dealing with complex situations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively communicate to internal/external stakeholders

  • Analytical skills including the ability to take the lead on own projects with minimal supervision

  • Confidence in constructively challenging conventional wisdom

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment across regions
