Client Technical Authority Lead

The Client Technical Authority (CTA) Lead is responsible for leading a team of CTAs who serve as the primary technical advisors for our clients. This role involves overseeing the performance and development of the CTA team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical guidance and strategic advice to clients. The Team Leader will also act as an escalation point for complex client solutions, provide mentorship and coaching to the team, and ensure alignment of the team's activities with the overall business objectives.

This position plays a critical role in driving client satisfaction, fostering strong client relationships, and maximizing the value of client technology investments. As the CTA Lead, you will also act as CTA to key clients.

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical advisory or client-facing position


• Strong background in IT and technology, with a deep understanding of current industry trends and best practices


• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships


• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies aligned with business objectives


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with the ability to examine a problem and involve the appropriate people at the appropriate time


• Proven work experience as a Technical Account Manager, or similar role


• Excellent understanding and a good level of competency of good practice in the end-to-end processes of designing, building, and implementing technology solutions


• Demonstrable experience in requirements definition and management, articulating options, considerations and priorities which require a business decision


• Experience of the end-to-end delivery process from Analysis & Design through to Go-Live and hand-over to Service


• Able to communicate a complicated problem succinctly, accurately, and coherently to a team with different skill sets


• Influence others through verbal communication and be able to articulate and present information in a structured and authoritative manner while gaining credibility for your own expertise


• Able to lead by example and participate in group activities and knowledge sharing with other team members, guiding others, and expanding their knowledge base.


• Experience of VMWare and virtualisation technologies


• Detailed understanding of Microsoft Windows Server Operating System


• Experience within Microsoft Ecosystem / technology stack


• Networking and connectivity solutions foundation knowledge (MPLS, SD-WAN, Data Centre Core and Public cloud Networks (e.g. as Azure networking)
