Full Job Description
1 Part time role, 11 hours per week to include a Monday of at least 7.5 hours, The post holder will work within the Trust's Outpatient Booking Centre, providing essential support in relation to outpatient booking services.
The post holder will manage and operate the partial or full-booking process for identified outpatient specialties, ensuring patients booked into appointments within local, regional and national outpatient access targets including RTT.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our established and friendly Outpatient Booking Team at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. If you have great customer service, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills this could be the role for you! You will be part of the team booking and rescheduling department specific Outpatient appointments, as well as other administrative tasks including needed to ensure patients experience high quality care at this first stage of their pathway and the suspected cancer 2ww pathway.
Our ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and able to work well under pressure. You would be required to work alongside the other members of the Clinic Co-ordinator team, all other colleagues within the department and colleagues at various levels in specific areas across the trust. We are looking for someone who can provide a professional, compassionate and comprehensive service to our patients. Experience of managing your own workload efficiently and excellent attention to detail would be highly beneficial. Alongside previous customer service experience.
