Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Clinical administrator to provide medical secretarial support to Consultant Psychiatrists and Non-medical prescribers within a Community Mental Health Team. The post holder will be the lead in the time management and processes that incorporate the activities of Consultant Psychiatrists and /or Non-medical Prescribers. The post holder needs to be efficient in prioritisation, time management and flexible to the needs of the service. The post holder must have the ability to use computer software and other electronical systems.

You will be the first port of call to assist the Consultant Psychiatrists and / or Non-medical prescribers in supporting them to fufill their duties.

You may be a first point of contact for service users calling into the CMHT and a friendly and helpful/responsive attitude is needed., A range of secretarial and clerical skills will be required to support the smooth running of day-to-day operational issues for the supporting clinical teams, thus enabling a whole team approach with the aim of providing outstanding compassionate care.
