Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised individual to provide a comprehensive administration service as Cardiology Coordinator to the Cardiology Centre at KIMS Hospital. You will be responsible for the management and day-to-day organisation of patients, liaising with Insurance Providers, Consultants, Consultant Secretaries and GPs. This role is ideal for a strong and empathic individual who is patient focused with excellent IT skills. This role is 30 hours per week, working across 4 days. Shifts will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9am - 5pm. Role Responsibilities include: As a Cardiology Coordinator you will:
- Welcome all patients and visitors to the Cardiology Centre
- Ensure all enquiries are answered or directed to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Make inpatient and outpatient appointments for patients, making use of all available clinics.
- Advise patients clearly on the preparations needed for their appointments, sending them in writing or by email.
- Work closely with other hospital teams to ensure and efficient, effective and responsive Cardiology Service., Take reassurance from knowing that your interviewer can often be as nervous as you. Be polite, honest and open, maintaining eye contact with them. Talk as clearly and confidently as you can and if you don't understand a question, ask for clarification. When answering, focus on positive experiences and be prepared to go into detail about your previous positions and your future aspirations.
