Full Job Description

The post holder will be aligned to a specific team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the Networks administrative service providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their Team Leader to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (OACMHT). The post is based at Balladen House, Rawtenstall.

The post is 22.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday only.

Qualifications needed: NVQ Level 2, RSA 2 or equivalent, ECDL or equivalent experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join a community based mental health service and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You must be able to provide efficient administrative support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills. You will also require strong interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise your workload effectively.

The work is varied, interesting and demanding and candidates will need to be organised, flexible and reliable. We are looking for people who possess the ability to meet the demands of the service, and also be able to communicate with a wide range of people, including patients, and health care professionals.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service across the Mental Health Network, coordinating their activities with other members of the Business Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
