Clinical Advisor

You will be working as part of the Rapid Response team predominantly on triage and assessment of referrals into the service, mostly via our partnership work with EEAST Ambulance Service and our UCR 'professionals line'. You will work from Queensborough House, Dunstable and be based with our Single Point of Access Team to provide a nurse clinician to support day to day as as senior presence and support nursing queries coming in to the team from varying referral routes.
Excellent communication, time management skills and sound clinical knowledge, is essential. A flexible approach is required to accommodate the changing needs of the service along with the drive to influence service development.

You will have regular supervision, mentorship and support from within the Rapid Response Team and the Trust., You must have a driving license and have access to a vehicle in order to carry out your duties. + Provide high quality complex clinical triage using knowledge, skills, critical thinking and clinical assessment utilising criteria and clinical pathways.
+ Provide healthcare advice supported by clinical pathways and criteria, ensuring timely onward referral to the appropriate Primary Care at Home team
+ Be available to staff a 7 day a week service model between 08:00 - 20:00

Integrated care is key in making the best use of resources and providing effective care.

Are you an experienced Nurse who would like to join our dynamic team?
