Are you passionate and driven? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Clinical Audit Assistant to bolster our ranks. As a Clinical Audit Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our Trauma and Orthopaedics Databases. Your primary mission will be to efficiently gather and record essential data, supporting our clinicians in managing and maintaining both national and local clinical audit initiatives. You will prepare detailed data reports that drive informed decision-making and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, gaining valuable insights into the field of Trauma and Orthopaedics. Essential

  • Good general education standard / GCSE qualifications in English and maths (grade C or above) or equivalent
  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
  • Desirable
  • Study beyond GCSE
  • Advanced ECDL
  • Knowledge Essential
  • Knowledge of data collection, spreadsheets / databases and clinical audit.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software / Windows-based applications
  • Patient records / case notes

  • Multidisciplinary Team working
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, clinical audit / data validation and analysis gained on the job / further training
  • Desirable
  • Intermediate level knowledge and understanding of a range of routine work procedures particularly those based on data / information collection and processing
  • Knowledge of FoxPro database software
  • Further Training Essential
  • Hospital computer systems Medway, case note tracking, ORION
  • Wide range of medical / surgical terminology knowledge acquired through further training

  • Previous experience within a clinical environment / healthcare setting at Ward Receptionist or equivalent level
