Full Job Description

For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification. 2.1 To lead on the day to day management and support for the Clinical Audit Effectiveness Facilitators and the Quality Improvement Auditor2.2 To participate in the recruitment of the Clinical Audit Effectiveness Facilitators and the Quality Improvement Auditor which includes shortlisting and acting as a member of the interview panel.2.3 To be responsible for implementation of the clinical audit forward plan through project design, analysis, report preparation, dissemination of series of audits, action planning of all aspects of audit cycle. This includes National Audit requirements, NICE Guidance compliance, Getting It Right First Time, local quality outcomes monitoring and other data returns as required.2.4 Participate in regular staff appraisal, identifying areas of development and training needs and developing appropriate programmes of training and support.2.5 To prioritise
the workload of the department and supervise workload distribution of clinical audit/QI co-ordinators and ensure completion of agreed objectives.2.6 Contribute to the achievement of the Quality Improvement Priorities as detailed in the Trust Quality Account.2.7 Working in conjunction with the Clinical Audit team and the trust Clinical Audit leads to develop the clinical audit annual programme, taking into account the Quality priorities and goals in the Annual Quality Account.2.8 To be aware of all hospital policies and procedures and collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure that these are observed.
