Full Job Description

  • Lead with purpose: Supervise and support a dedicated team of clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Drive excellence: Contribute to the evolution of our service, ensuring that the needs of our children, young people, and families remain at the forefront of our care.
  • Communicate effectively: Utilise strong communication and organisational skills to deliver exceptional patient experiences at every stage of their journey., Provide operational management and leadership to the team, ensuring effective implementation and on-going delivery of Trust pathways and protocols in order that the team can deliver safe and effective, high quality compassionate services.
  • Clinically, hold a specific caseload in order to maintain registration with the post holders governing body and to provide high level assessment and intervention in line with the posts seniority and expected level of experience and skill.
  • Work in partnership with the Deputy Head of Clinical Services, and other senior staff to establish effective multi-disciplinary working within the team and the wider CYPMH Service.
  • Ensure that practice across the service meets required standards and evidences shared decision making and evaluation of practice through use of routine outcome measures.
  • Lead on the recruitment and supervision of staff, operating within the available resources to achieve the required targets.
  • Lead on the establishment, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures.
