Full Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join a well established Clinical Coding Department at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
The post holder will be required to extract medical terms from clinical documents and translate to clinical codes for hospital activity at Glan Clwyd Hospital, You will have good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. A keen attention to detail is essential to this role. You would be expected to keep updated of developments in clinical coding through internal training and specialty training courses, which could involve travelling.In the instance of appointing a trainee we offer a comprehensive training package including Coding Standards Course and a internal trainee coder development course fully supported by experienced nominated mentors.If you are looking to develop your skills in the coding environment and feel that you can make a positive contribution to our service we would like to hear from you
