Full Job Description
The post holder will be a senior member of the team in the capacity of Clinical Coordinator and will provide support and advice alongside effective leadership to a specified clinical team. This will be demonstrated by ensuring the provision of high quality safe and effective care. In addition, the post holder will provide direct clinical nursing care and leadership in the absence of the Ward Matron, Provides leadership and direction to the nursing team to assure all staff fulfill their roles effectively. Actively participates in appraisal, training, facilitation, professional development planning and clinical supervision to support growth and development of team and self-ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care. To actively engage in all aspects of clinical governance, participate in audits, research and change projects to improve quality and operational service. Resolve conflict using a range of problem solving styles. Provide senior nursing leadership in the absence of the Ward Matron. Improve practice and policies by means of audit standards within the department. Organise, co-ordinate and monitor all educational and staff development activities and meetings in collaboration with the Ward Matron and other team members. Demonstration of regular formal evaluation of the team and being able to make changes were appropriate to improve quality. Monitor patient and family
satisfaction.
