Full Job Description
Due to service redesign we have opportunities for three enthusiastic Counselling or Clinical Psychologists (band 7) to progress to Senior (band 8a); come join Inpatient Adult Mental Health Services!
- Different locations (Coventry and Warwick).
- Part time/full time hours.
- Flexibility: a third of your role remote if preferred.
- Ideal for those in final training year. Working in inpatient mental health is a great use of all skills we have as psychologists; it's a great place to learn, develop and progress to a Senior role. The role is diverse, stimulating, and thought-provoking. If you would like opportunities to engage in 1:1 work, group interventions, consultation, teaching and supervision with excellent support from a qualified psychologist, then please apply to join our friendly team! If you're interested in working with adults with a variety of difficulties and working with the MDT then this is the role for you. You will have a significant role collaborating with the MDT to develop trauma informed formulations that inform least restrictive care. We're keen to recruit recovery-oriented thoughtful team players and welcome all conversations if you're curious. You're also very welcome to come and meet some of the team and see the wards. - Direct assessment and formulation work with complex service users.
- Provide clinical supervision to more junior team members and other members of the MDT.
- Lead on psychologically informed team formulation.
- Contribute to QIPs, relevant audits, and research on ward.
