Clinical Deputy Manager (SATS / CAMHS LD) - Band 6 (Nurse / AHP)

At Brooklands Hospital our patients have asked for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals "who will advocate for them in MDT to get appropriate opportunities and support, that listen, that let them be involved in writing care plans and risk assessments, that have a good sense of humour and know what makes patients happy. They would like Nurses and AHP's that are caring and that talk to them and give them praise when they do well." Most importantly our patients want people who make them feel safe., The successful candidate will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary learning disability and autism inpatient service with children and young people. The post holder will ensure that all organisational systems and processes are adhered to. They will manage and organise competing and conflicting priorities and manage change in complex situations. The post holder will be a resource of clinical knowledge and competence in the service area contributing to staff and service development working closely with Clinical Leads. They will work over a 24-hour period and support on audit, guidelines and quality improvement approaches to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in their area. The post holder will be required to undertake trusted assessments, provide evidence-based clinical interventions and clinical leadership.
